Inspector Packer - Night Shift

About the role

Join a team of Operator and Processor Technicians in a 365/24/7 plastics manufacturing facility. This position works 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with rotating weekends. Successful candidates must complete drug, background, and physical screenings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and package molded products
• Properly sort unacceptable product for further processing
• Complete finishing operations on molded product
• Accurately package and label completed products
• Maintain accurate transactions of finished goods and scrap material
• Immediately inform team leader of non-conforming product
• Maintain high housekeeping standards within the work area
• Start and stop machines when instructed
• Follow the Plastics department attendance policy
• Perform and execute job tasks in the best interest of a high-performance team at all times

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Stable work history, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
• Ability to stand and walk continuously while performing tasks
• Capability to perform all job duties associated with the functional job description, including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds
• Adherence to all safety requirements
• Basic computer skills (a plus)
• Strong communication skills
• Self-managed with the ability to work well without supervision
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Schedule

12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with rotating weekends.
