2nd Shift is 2:45 AM to 11:15 PM, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Package life-saving medicines on high-speed computerized assembly line.
- Conduct visual inspection, move product on and off assembly line.
- Strictly follow standard operating procedures and documentation requirements.
- Identify and report problems.
- Must be willing to become qualified inspector.
- Make minor adjustments and assist with changeover and set-up to equipment.
- Visually inspect vials and labels.
- Assure that the packaged product meets all specifications.
- Perform visual inspection of labeled vials.
- Comply with all SOP's and cGMP's.
- Continue to train as well as train other crew members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assure a safe working environment and wear clean room safety equipment/apparel.
- Work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to perform repetitive work.
- Must be able to focus on details for periods of time (i.e. visual inspection, labeling).
- Must be able to use pallet jacks to pull/push pallets of product.
- Must be able to pass Vision 5 visual acuity testing administered by occupational health administrator, pre-employment and annually thereafter.
- Previous machine operator experience or mechanical aptitude are preferred, particularly HMI experience.
- The Company’s primary business language is English. The successful candidate must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English to perform the essential functions of the position, including independently understanding policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communications written in English due to our heavily regulated work environment.
Pay
Salary Range: $17.51/hour plus applicable shift differential. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
