About the role

TDP Bakery brings fresh, never‑frozen bakery products to markets where they are otherwise unavailable. Through our BakeFace™ brand private‑label partnerships we supply a broad portfolio of Honestly Fresh™ baked goods to retailers nationwide. In the packing department, packers ensure products are carefully packaged within daily timeframes and ready for delivery, inspecting doughnuts for quality, coordinating with the production team to meet packing goals, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Inspect doughnuts for quality.
• Work closely with the production team to meet daily packing goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Pack 220 slots on the trays within the daily specified timeframe.
• Use the correct packing station layout.
• Use route tags and validate invoice numbers (route, rack, slot, page).
• Ensure packing accuracy to eliminate shorts and extras; work to reduce or eliminate waste.
• Assist with packing products into cups and 6‑ and 4‑packs during earlier shifts.
• Support condensing and organizing finished products for efficient storage and distribution.
• Clean up the packing station and take dishes to the washroom.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures for equipment and workspaces.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized regularly.
• Dispose of waste materials properly and promptly.
• Adhere to hygiene standards and wear appropriate protective gear.
• Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial bakery or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work any day of the week, including weekends (schedule is subject to change).
• Must have a reliable form of transportation to get to work on a daily basis.
• Ability to learn and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Authorization to work in the US (must provide proper documentation).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to periodically lift and move up to 40 lbs.
• Manual dexterity for handling doughnuts and packaging materials.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach as necessary during the packing process.
• Ability to stand for 8‑10 hours.

Work Environment

Manufacturing bakery environment with exposure to machinery, temperature variation, noise, and moving equipment. Regular standing, walking, and presence on the production floor is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform essential functions.
