About the Role

As a Packer, you will provide support for the operation team by working safely in a fast-paced production warehouse environment. You will inspect product for defects and pack finished goods in the correct configuration.

Responsibilities

• Package product into boxes and prepare for shipment
• Check for quality issues and report them to the team lead
• Ensure adequate supplies (boxes, tape, etc.) at your station
• Maintain a clean workstation at all times
• Follow all safety guidelines

Requirements

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to follow standard work instructions
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands

• Constant physical activities including reaching overhead, squatting, and bending at the waist
• Lifting boxes from 0-50 lbs depending on the line assigned
• Climbing up and down stairs throughout a 12-hour shift
• Tolerance of standing posture continuously for 12 hours
• Intense walking involved
• Able to tolerate working environment with excessive hot and cold temperatures
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net, and gloves
• Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, and bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift
• Prolonged standing and high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles

Pay

Starting rate: $17.92 per hour, paid weekly.

Schedule

• Day shift: 8 AM – 8 PM
• Night shift: 8 PM – 8 AM
• Rotating shifts: 2-2-3 schedule
