Packer

About the role

As a Packer, you will support the operation team by working safely in a fast-paced production warehouse environment, inspecting products for defects, packing finished goods in the correct configuration, preparing shipments, ensuring supplies at your station, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product for defects and pack finished goods in correct configuration.
• Package product into boxes and prepare for shipment.
• Check for quality issues and contact team lead with issues.
• Ensure you have enough supplies at your station (boxes, tape, etc.).
• Keep station clean at all times.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to work with others effectively as part of a team is essential.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.

Skills

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Able to effectively communicate.
• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing work environment with constant physical activities.
• Ability to reach overhead, squat, and bend at the waist.
• Ability to lift boxes from 0‑50 lbs depending on the line assigned.
• Ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a 12‑hour shift.
• Tolerance of standing posture continuously for 12 hours.
• Intense walking involved.
• Ability to tolerate working environment with excessive hot and cold temperatures.
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing when
