The Packer position is responsible for unloading machine tables while inspecting for quality and packaging the product in accordance with established work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform production processes in accordance with established work instructions, while meeting required quality standards and efficiencies
• Load/unload material from machine tables
• Perform first piece inspections and log scrap
• Inspect parts for quality issues such as fill, fusion, post expansion, etc.
• Identify proper packaging containers and ensure packaged containers are properly labeled
• Maintain accurate counts per container
• Pack products on flats and in boxes
• Perform and document quality checks
• Maintain and improve 5S activities, keeping work areas clean, orderly, and safe for all team members
• Communicate with leadership at the beginning and end of each shift
• Work in a safe manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule

No rotating shifts!

• 2nd Shift – 4:00pm - 12:00am
• 3rd Shift - 12:00am - 8:00am

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic math skills including counting, adding, and subtracting
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble parts
• Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 35 pounds
• Ability to pull up to 35 pounds
• Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and stoop
