About the Role

This position involves receiving customer samples, conducting transit and package integrity testing per ASTM, ISTA standards, or customer protocols, and managing sample information in the Laboratory Inventory Management System. Responsibilities include generating work orders, preparing test evidence reports, and maintaining records of packaging testing while adhering to good documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer samples and record information in the Shipping and Receiving Log.
• Conduct Transit and Package Integrity Testing as per ASTM Standards, ISTA standards, or customer protocols.
• Add sample information to the Laboratory Inventory Management System, including generating work orders.
• Prepare Test Evidence Reports and perform entry-level data review and reporting following good documentation practices.
• Maintain records of packaging testing.
• Monitor and provide customer support regarding testing services.
• Update customers on test status, updates, and results.
• Report any deviations observed to the Operations Manager.
• Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Production testing or related industry experience is desired but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy is required.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards is desired.
• Ability to lift bulky items up to 30 lbs, climb, bend, and reach without restriction is required.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Pay

$18–$25 per hour.
