Packaging Technician/ NIghts 2-2-3 6 pm to 6 am
Brief Overview
Ocean Spray is now hiring Packaging Technicians at their Lehigh Valley facility. Located in Breinigsville, PA, the plant has four production lines capable of producing up to 40 million cases annually, representing more than 45% of Ocean Spray's North American volume.
About the Role
The Packaging Technician position involves operating all equipment in the bottling area, using a forklift as needed, assisting with line changeovers, performing level one preventive maintenance, and maintaining a high level of safety and quality awareness. This is a 12-hour rotating shift from 6 pm to 6 am, with weekends off.
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment in the bottling area
- Use a forklift as required
- Absorb and assist in line changeovers
- Perform level one preventive maintenance
- Maintain a high level of safety and quality awareness
- Communicate with operators on the same shift and between shifts to ensure continuous productivity and effective operations
Requirements
- Bottling and manufacturing experience, a plus
- Maintain excellent attendance reliability
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, including 12-hour nights, every other weekend, and possibly some holidays
- Ensure compliance with all Safety and Quality standards, processes, and procedures
- Become familiar with and learn to operate multiple machine centers to promote cross-functional skills
- Communicate effectively with all operators on the same shift and between shifts to ensure continuous productivity and effective operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of food processing and packaging operations
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Skills
- Operational knowledge of bottling and packaging machinery
- Good physical fitness and stamina
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay and Schedule
- Starting salary of $24.73 per hour plus $1.25 shift differential for night assignments
- Rotating 12-hour shift from 6 pm to 6 am, with weekends off
Schedule

- Every other weekend
- May include some holidays
