Packaging Technician - Night Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the packaging lines in the packaging department on a daily basis.
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure that the products are in accordance with the specification.
- Perform routine safety checks to ensure that the equipment is in a safe condition for operation.
- Achieve Performance targets for Packaging Lines.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for deviations and problems/breakdowns that occur on equipment.
- Perform and assist with preventative maintenance and autonomous maintenance on packaging production lines.
- Perform and assist with packaging production lines change overs to meet department needs.
- Perform and assist with 5S and cleaning activities to always meet good manufacturing practices.
- Conduct SAP functions such as Batch reconciliation, Cycle Count, Material Movements, Confirmation, and Inventory control.
Basic Qualifications
- A High School diploma.
- One year’s experience in a production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- An Associate's or Technical Degree/Certification.
