We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Technician to join our manufacturing team in Plymouth, MN. In this hands-on production role, you'll inspect and package thermoformed products, operate support equipment, maintain quality standards, and help ensure safe, efficient operations.
Pay
Starting pay is $18.50 for second shift and $19.00 for third shift.
Schedule
Full-time, onsite role based in Plymouth, MN.
- Second (2nd) shift: 3:00 pm–11:00 pm, Monday through Friday
- Third (3rd) shift: 11:00 pm–7:00 am, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
- Inspect and package thermoformed products according to customer specifications and quality standards
- Perform product inspections, measurements, and quality checks using measuring equipment and product drawings
- Apply labels and ensure proper product identification and traceability
- Verify materials for disposal, recycling, and regrind processes
- Operate packaging, finishing, and support equipment following work instructions and process control plans
- Complete Oracle system transactions and production documentation as required
- Identify, communicate, and escalate quality concerns or nonconforming products
- Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Follow all established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support Packaging Technician II responsibilities as directed by leadership
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, production, or quality inspection experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read product drawings and perform product measurements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn Oracle or other manufacturing software systems
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and move products, boxes, and materials weighing up to 30 pounds
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Regular bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and climbing
- Work safely around manufacturing equipment and machinery
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment operating under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Exposure to production equipment including thermoforming machines, packaging equipment, measurement tools, pallet jacks, and computers
- Safety-focused workplace with required PPE
