Packaging Technician

About the Role

As a Packaging Technician, you'll be a key player in producing high-quality grain-based food products that reach millions. This hands-on role involves working with high-tech equipment, problem-solving, and variety in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Keep packaging equipment running smoothly and efficiently
• Troubleshoot jams, seals, and equipment issues quickly
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet high standards
• Complete paperwork and data entry for outbound shipments

Requirements

• High School Graduate, GED, or equivalent experience
• Basic driving skills required; forklift driving experience a plus
• General computer competency required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, in particular a food safe environment, a plus
• Ability to work autonomously using critical thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills to complete assigned tasks safely without supervision
• Demonstrate ownership of job function and area equipment
• Demonstrate personal initiative and collaborative, team player approach
• Ability to proactively drive continuous improvement project creation and execution
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently in order to communicate effectively with team members within and external to pack department

Location: Cambria, WI

Schedule: 6am–6pm on a 2-2-3 rotation

Pay: $22–$25/hour based on experience
