About the role
The Packaging Technician position is responsible for operating packaging machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging machines to ensure efficient and accurate product packaging.
- Inspect products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain packaging equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing or packaging setting.
- Basic knowledge of packaging machinery and operation.
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and instructions.
- Good physical condition to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
