About the role
Join as a Packaging Technician 2 and contribute to a collaborative production team focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence. In this hands-on role, you will operate assigned machine centers and support bottling production while maintaining and sanitizing equipment and facilities. Your work will help ensure workplace safety, product quality, and production goals in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment such as case packers, labelers, and palletizers.
- Complete production reporting and quality checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and Food Safety-compliant work area.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Interact with HMI control technology and enter information into production and quality systems.
- Help train others on procedures and assigned tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years’ experience in beverage production, manufacturing, or operations.
- Ability to repetitively lift and uncase glass cases onto a conveyor belt, up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, or move up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work any assigned shift (day, swing, graveyard, 5x8, 4x10), including weekends and overtime as necessary.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Compliance with company GMP policies.
- Travel to company offices, sites, or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years’ experience in beverage production, manufacturing, or operations.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
Schedule
Monday - Thursday, 4:45 AM - 3:15 PM.
Pay
$19.96 - $26.90 per hour. This position may also be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participation in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
