About the role

The Packaging Support team member is responsible for efficiently packaging product inventory while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role involves counting, labeling, assembling, bagging, and boxing a variety of items into final product packaging, performing basic visual inspections, and reporting any product or equipment issues or discrepancies to supervisors. The position also includes maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area and collaborating with others in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Open availability for 40 hours a week, specifically Monday–Thursday (4 × 10-hour shifts)
• Package product inventory efficiently and effectively
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
• Maintain high-quality standards during shifts, including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped and produced
• Work collaboratively in high-pressure situations with a sense of urgency
• Communicate effectively with various levels within the company
• Report any damaged, spoiled, broken, or unsatisfactory product or equipment to supervisors
• Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality of product
• Perform other related duties as requested by supervisors

Requirements

• At least 6 months of related experience and/or training in a production or packaging environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Must obtain all state-required permits, licenses, and certifications
• Willingness to submit to a background check
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Must be 21 years of age or older (state regulation requirement)
