About the role
Our client is a leading food manufacturer. They seek a Packaging Specifications Manager to lead packaging specification processes, data governance, and compliance while partnering across engineering, operations, quality, sales, and customer teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain packaging specifications, data, and related systems.
- Ensure packaging meets customer, regulatory, and sustainability requirements.
- Partner cross-functionally on packaging development, plant trials, and commercialization.
- Lead projects and provide guidance to packaging specification staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Engineering or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of team leadership, development, or project leadership experience.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and specifications.
- Experience with specification/data systems such as Specright, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with customer and regulatory systems such as e-halo, EPR, or related programs.
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.

Pay
Salary: $105k - $140k
