Packaging Specialist (35) - 2nd Shift

About the role

You’ll be at the heart of our production center, helping millions of customers across the world enjoy Hallmark products. You will be loading, unloading, and packing brand-new Hallmark products. You’ll be cross-trained across multiple departments by a support team of trainers and supervisors to help you learn every step of the way.

Responsibilities

• Unload products from a conveyor belt or table and place them in a carton, skid, or fixture.
• Operate manual equipment, assist in the production of envelopes by tending the press or operate label machines.
• Examine products to ensure product quality has been met and assist in preventative maintenance.
• Report production-related information and handle required paperwork.
• Assist with all aspects of different assignments across departments (flexibility required).

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to constantly stand, walk, twist, bend, and reach above shoulder level.
• Ability to constantly use repetitive hand/wrist motion and perform fine motor skills.
• Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 60 pounds occasionally.

Skills

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse, production, or packer/packaging experience.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Pay

Starting pay is $17.35 per hour plus shift differential.

Schedule

Full‑time, 5‑day work week, 2nd shift: Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm. The company is willing to work with you to find a shift that fits your lifestyle.
