Packaging Specialist (35) - 2nd Shift

Salary and Shift Details

Starting pay is $17.35 plus shift differential. This is a full-time, 5-day work week position on 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 3:30pm - 11:30pm. (Other shifts may be available; inquire during the application process.)

Responsibilities

• Unload products from a conveyor belt or table and place them in cartons, skids, or fixtures
• Operate manual equipment, assist in envelope production by tending the press, or operate label machines
• Examine products to ensure quality standards are met
• Assist in preventative maintenance
• Report production-related information and handle required paperwork
• Assist with all aspects of assignments across different departments as needed

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age
• Able to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to constantly stand, walk, twist, bend, and reach above shoulder level
• Ability to constantly use repetitive hand/wrist motion and perform fine motor skills
• Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 60 pounds occasionally

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Previous warehouse, production, or packer/packaging experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
