Packaging Specialist - 2nd Shift

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Spectra health and safety and local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for applying product and compliance labels onto cartridges.
• Responsible for pouring engineered resins from mixing tanks into cartridges.
• Responsible for bagging and boxing engineered resins into individual bags and cartons.
• Responsible for taping cartons, inserting into master box, and palletizing.
• Responsible to follow and maintain all the documentation associated with quality control.
• Suggest procedural and process improvements to meet or exceed the plant’s productivity and quality goals.
• Provide firsthand support to Fulfillment on any manufacturing process issues.
• Maintain effective communication channels (oral and written) to all levels at plant.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery noise, temperature changes, and particulate materials.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on the production floor for extended periods.

Education and Training

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
