Responsibilities
- Contribute creative concepts and layout direction for Tree Hut and Baby Magic packaging and labels, working alongside senior designers to support 150+ SKUs and Limited Edition Collections.
- Adjust and refine design files into a mechanical layout — updating text, revising layouts, and adjusting bleeds — and confirm print-readiness by verifying color separations, dyelines, image resolution, and typography; organize and archive mechanicals, templates, and assets.
- Manage sample requests and ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Review proofs and incorporate vendor feedback to maintain production quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve production or printing issues.
- Create mockups of kits and packaging to give retailers or internal teams a visual preview of the final product before production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in production art and/or graphic design, preferably in CPG, beauty, or related industries (internships considered).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is a must.
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve design efficiency.
- Foundational design skills, including a solid understanding of layout, typography, and color, with a portfolio demonstrating design and/or production work.
- Knowledge of print production processes, file preparation, and color management.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Staying plugged into Gen Z design and beauty trends is a plus.
