Responsibilities
- Operate and sanitize Ishida Scales/Bag Weighers, Triangle Baggers, Bliss Machine, Seasoning Drum, Blue Print Case Erectors/Case Packers, Elliott Case Sealers, Add Backs and Bulk Off Area.
- Assist Palletizer Operators as needed.
- Complete Safety requirements, Centerline Checks, Basic Care/CIL Routes, Planned Stop Activities, and adhere to break times.
- Respond to issues using a radio.
- Carry out Cleanups.
- Enter data into the LEDs computer system.
- Attend meetings regarding top losses and actions involved.
- Participate in Peer to Peer and Shift DS/DDS meetings.
- Strip out bags and keep area(s) clean.
- Utilize the Add-back system to eliminate totes, while protecting product quality.
- Understand and operate Frozen Grading.
- Use HMI operations, including thermal imaging capabilities.
- Solve issues independently.
- Show initiative, drive, and leadership.
- Communicate effectively with other Team Members.
Qualifications
- Effective communication and understanding of both verbal and written instructions.
- Self-motivation.
- Ability to go up and down stairs.
- Standing for most of the day (60/40 walking/standing).
- Basic Mechanical and Computer aptitude.
- Basic Math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Able to safely lift 50 pounds.
