Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Operate various fixed equipment (torch rig, shear crane, etc.).
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Experience And Skill Requirements

• Ability to learn and recall scrap commodities and operating procedures.
• Ability to document and maintain procedures and record keeping for equipment.
• Must be able to work a 10–12-hour shift.
• Ability to work in various types of weather conditions which include extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to use effective listening skills to identify important information and to engage internal and external customers.
• Ability to perform heavy manual work.
• Equipment operating experience is a PLUS!

Important

This position will start out locally with no overnight travel. Starting rate is $16.50 an hour with up to 50 hours a week. You may be working in our yard or traveling short distances assisting our driver with demo projects. Eventually you will be assigned to an out-of-town crew. Your pay will be increased as you gain experience. In addition to your hourly wage you will receive $40 a day per diem pay when working over-night.

Stays out of town 4 days per week, home Friday through Sunday.
