Packaging Operator - Shift: 2 PM -10:30 PM (Urgent Need)

Schedule

• Second shift: 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Overtime required as needed

About the role

We package plant-based hemostatic powder (Arista™ AH Absorbable Hemostatic Powder). The only “hazard” is the 70/30 alcohol solution used for cleaning, which is flammable.

Responsibilities

• Manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products
• Perform finished-product packaging to meet customer, internal, clinical, and other demand
• Ensure finished product is packaged in accordance with procedures and Quality specifications
• Inspect in-process packaging and components; remove defective products and packaging material
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities (device history records, inventory counts, etc.)
• Perform simple mathematical calculations for batch-record completion
• Assist with inventory counting activities
• Participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions/observations
• Perform routine cleaning of packaging station and processing equipment
• Abide by all personal protective equipment and product-contamination-control (gowning) requirements
• Handle hazardous waste as appropriate

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 6 months of industry work experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Good documentation practices
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including static or rotating shifts and overtime
• Familiarity with computers and general business software
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Must be able to read and understand documentation, follow procedures, and meet quality specifications
