Packaging Operator - 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Urgent Need)

Location: Woburn, MA • Duration: 6 months • Hours: 40/week • Shift: 1st (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) • Pay: $20.00/hour

About the role

Contract W2 position at a medical-device company. US Citizens, Green-Card holders, GC-EAD, OPT, EAD, or CPT required.

Responsibilities

• Manually inspect, label, and package clinical and commercial products.
• Perform finished-product packaging to meet customer, internal, clinical, and other demand.
• Ensure packaging adheres to procedures and Quality specifications.
• Inspect in-process packaging and components; remove defective products and materials.
• Maintain accurate documentation of packaging activities, device history records, and inventory counts.
• Perform simple mathematical calculations for batch-record completion.
• Assist with inventory counting.
• Participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions/observations.
• Clean packaging stations and processing equipment routinely.
• Follow all personal-protective-equipment and contamination-control (gowning) requirements.
• Handle hazardous waste as appropriate.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months industry work experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good documentation practices.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including static/rotating shifts and overtime.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with general business software.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
