Packaging Operator - 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m (Urgent Need)

Location: Woburn, Massachusetts | Duration: 6 Months

About the role

Pay rate: $20.00 per hour. Work schedule: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required.

Background checks must be fully cleared before starting; no drug screening is required. High school diploma or GED is required.

Occasional handling of hazardous waste (200-proof ethanol) may be required, though it is rare for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manually inspect, label, and package clinical and commercial products.
• Perform finished product packaging to meet customer, internal, clinical, and other demand.
• Ensure finished product packaging adheres to procedures and Quality specifications.
• Inspect in-process packaging and components to maintain consistent quality; remove defective products and packaging material.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities, including device history records and inventory counts.
• Perform simple mathematical calculations to assist in completion of batch records.
• Assist with inventory counting activities.
• Participate in safety audits and engage in daily safety discussions/observations.
• Perform routine cleaning of packaging station and processing equipment.
• Abide by all personal protective equipment and product contamination control (e.g., gowning) requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months of industry work experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good documentation practices.
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including static or rotating shifts and overtime.
• Familiarity with computers and various software for general business functionality.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
