Main Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot multiple types of packaging equipment.
- Equipment may include, but is not limited to: Carton erectors, Partition inserters, Production inserters (MPV, VPM, PLU), Foil dispensers, Top closers, Palletization equipment.
- Manual responsibilities include: Loading, building, and making boxes, Hand packaging of bottles, Loading labels.
- Maintenance includes: Performing routine cleaning, and minor maintenance of equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Material handling: Loading/unloading packaging materials such as corrugate, containers, or other raw materials.
- Documentation: Accurately document records of finished goods, packaging specifications, or any visual quality checks.
- Perform changeover's of divers packaging equipment (eg case erector, partition inserter, top sealer, ...).
- Applies correct labels.
- Performs quality check consisting of visual inspection of overall product, labels, and packaging integrity for defects.
- Housekeeping.
- Performs autonomous maintenance.
Performance Metrics
- Labeling Accuracy: Maintains a labeling accuracy rate of 100% by consistently following all labeling procedures without deviation.
- Quality Control Compliance: Performs all required quality checks with 100% completion and accuracy, identifying and reporting any defects per standard operating procedures.
- Line clearance accuracy.
- Autonomous maintenance completion.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Min. 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Capable of lifting 55 pounds and to stand for a minimum of 12 hours.
- Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously.
- High cleanliness standards for the machines and work area.
