Main Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot multiple types of packaging equipment.
- Equipment may include, but is not limited to: partition inserters, product inserters (MPV, VPM, PLU), foil dispensers, top closers, palletization equipment.
- Manual responsibilities include: loading, building and making boxes, hand packaging of bottles, loading labels.
- Maintenance includes: perform routine cleaning, and minor maintenance of equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Material Handling: Loading/unloading packaging materials such as corrugate, containers or other raw materials.
- Documentation: Accurately document records of finished goods, packaging specifications, or any visual quality checks.
- Performs changeover’s of diverse packaging equipment (eg case erector, partition inserter, top sealer, …).
- Applies correct labels.
- Performs quality check consisting of visual inspection of overall product, labels and packaging integrity for defects.
- Housekeeping.
- Performs Autonomous maintenance.
Performance Metrics
- Labeling Accuracy: Maintains a labeling accuracy rate of 100% by consistently following all labeling procedures without deviation.
- Quality Control Compliance: Performs all required quality checks with 100% completion and accuracy, identifying and reporting any defects per standard operating procedures.
- Line clearance accuracy Autonomous maintenance completion
Qualifications and Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Capable of lifting 55 pounds and to stand for a minimum of 12 hours.
- Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously.
- High cleanliness standards for the machines and work area.
