About the role
We are seeking a Packaging Operator who will play a crucial part in our mission to provide an amazing beer and customer experience. This position is ideal for someone who loves beer and wants to learn more about it.
Responsibilities
- Check inbound stock against packing slip and accept stock into the system before moving it into inventory.
- Adhere to all rules, regulations, policies, and programs.
- Maintain overall plant hygiene by cleaning according to requirements.
- Operate equipment safely in accordance with training and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure quality parameters of finished products and complete required checks.
- Support other members of the packaging and wider production team.
- Complete accurate conversions and changeovers to BrewDog standards.
- Participate in process development and improvement, following instructions and completing necessary tasks to meet production targets.
- Build strong working relationships with the Warehouse and Brewing teams.
- Perform any other task(s) requested or assigned by a supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Computer literacy, MS Office experience preferred.
- Proactiveness and high energy.
- Flexibility in assignment of tasks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to cope well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Ability to understand and follow the weekly packaging schedule.
- Ability to stand for 10 hours.
- Ability to lift 45 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Situational awareness.
