Packaging Operative

About the role

We are seeking a Packaging Operator who will play a crucial part in our mission to provide an amazing beer and customer experience. This position is ideal for someone who loves beer and wants to learn more about it.

Responsibilities

• Check inbound stock against packing slip and accept stock into the system before moving it into inventory.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, policies, and programs.
• Maintain overall plant hygiene by cleaning according to requirements.
• Operate equipment safely in accordance with training and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure quality parameters of finished products and complete required checks.
• Support other members of the packaging and wider production team.
• Complete accurate conversions and changeovers to BrewDog standards.
• Participate in process development and improvement, following instructions and completing necessary tasks to meet production targets.
• Build strong working relationships with the Warehouse and Brewing teams.
• Perform any other task(s) requested or assigned by a supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Computer literacy, MS Office experience preferred.
• Proactiveness and high energy.
• Flexibility in assignment of tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to cope well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to understand and follow the weekly packaging schedule.
• Ability to stand for 10 hours.
• Ability to lift 45 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Situational awareness.
