Packaging Associate (NIGHTS)

Responsibilities
- Learn and perform work associated with the safe operation and maintenance of various manufacturing/warehouse equipment, depending on the specialization of process or operations and materials used.
- Monitor equipment parameters (meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls) and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/warehouse/process and quality specifications.
- Resolve common or frequent equipment issues, troubleshoot, and make equipment adjustments with guidance.
- Understand production information used daily to manage operations (MDI Boards, electronic platforms, etc.).
- Adhere to cGMP standards in completing relevant paperwork, following good documentation practices, and performing quality control checks.
- Escalate issues related to safety, quality compliance, and equipment status.
- Communicate needs or other support as needed.
- Participate in all required housekeeping (5S), cleaning, and sanitation.
- Operate material handling equipment, including electric hand trucks, walk-along pallet lifts, hoists, and other equipment as needed.
- Participate in the daily Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) verification list at the beginning of each shift and communicate any issues that prevent the unit from being used.
- Conduct equipment checklist verification of trailers before and after unloading.
- Participate in equipment changeovers and setups, including parts cleaning and inspection, checklist review, partnering in setup and start-up of each piece of equipment, and support in functional area.
Education
High school diploma or combination of equivalent education and experience or knowledge required.
Certifications
- Must have or be able to complete PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) certification training.
Experience
- 0–2 years’ work experience required at this level.
- Successful completion of the Pharmavite Technician Program.
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment with others.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing/warehouse processes or a combination of skills, knowledge, and demonstrated ability to learn is recommended.
Physical Requirements
- Stands and/or walks for the full work shift; may have restricted flexibility to move from their stations unless relieved by others.
- May perform repetitive job duties during training and rotations depending on assignment.
- Intermittently lifts and/or moves loads unassisted up to 40 pounds and over 40 pounds with the use of pallet jacks (manual or powered), two-person lift, or other mechanical aids.
- Pulls/pushes boxes of product on/off line and/or pallets using pallet jack, hoists, etc.
- Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment controls, production containers on a production line, and hand tools to assemble/disassemble parts of equipment and address quality variations.
- Required to walk up and down stairs and rolling platforms with handrails.
Environment
- Constant exposure to noise levels loud enough to require employees to wear hearing protection.
- Warm temperature levels, fumes, vibration, dust, etc., sufficient to cause minor discomfort; operating conditions may vary by department and area.
- Employee is required to wear all PPE for assigned department (protective eyewear, hearing protection, hair net, safety shoes, uniforms, etc.).

The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely by following standard operations.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $37,000.00 – $60,000.00. Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, and job-related skills. Base pay is only one component of total rewards; Pharmavite may also include an annual performance bonus.
