Packaging Associate
About the role
The Packaging Associate supports the cracker packaging process by operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a clean and safe production environment. You will add value by performing the following duties, including but not limited to:
- Set up, operate, and monitor packaging equipment
- Perform quality checks and complete required reports
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety, food safety, and company procedures
- Aid with other production duties as assigned
Responsibilities
8 hour shifts Monday to Sunday on 2nds (2:45pm to 11pm) or 3rds (10:45pm to 7am)
Starting Wages: $20.46 - $23.75/hour plus a $.75 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts
Top out at 1 year: $21.02 - $24.43/hour plus a $.75 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, and standing throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Previous manufacturing or food production experience is an asset
