Packaging Associate

Job Description

Packages finished goods and prepares product for shipment.

• Supports the operations team by feeding material into machines, inspecting product for defects, and packing finished goods in the correct configuration.
• Performs quality checks and ensures correct counts on various product sizes.
• Packs items into the appropriate packaging.
• Makes minor machine adjustments to minimize interruptions and ensure quality product.
• Replaces adhesive tape in hand tapers and automatic sealing machinery.
• Ensures that any finished goods or work-in-progress identification labels are present and properly placed.
• Stacks finished product in the correct configuration, ready for transportation.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and tidy work area.
• Promptly informs supervisor of any issues concerning health and safety, hygiene, quality, or efficiencies.
• Follows all company-established rules, policies, and safety regulations.
• Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
