About the role
Packaging associate responsible for packing finished product in accordance with standard packaging procedures, while maintaining quality standards and efficient production.
Responsibilities
- Comply with company packing procedures and standards.
- Follow packing schedule as directed by Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager.
- Maintain accurate record keeping and updated inventory.
- Keep Packing Room and common areas organized, clean, and pristine to optimize production efficiency.
- Comply with GMP, GDP, and safety guidelines in accordance with company and government agency policies.
- Communicate with Supervisor about any improvements to SOPs and strictly adhere to these practices.
- Perform work in a quality fashion.
- Ensure product orders are packed and moved carefully.
- Maintain satisfactory attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of related experience.
- Experience with cannabis-related equipment.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Self-starter with minimal supervision, able to work independently and in a team environment.
- 40-hour minimum work week.
- Flexible availability for work hours, including willingness to work weekends and holidays if needed.
