Packaging Associate

About the role
Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Packaging Associate for a large, well-known client in Perrysburg, OH. This role involves working in a fast-paced distribution environment, covering all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, quality assurance, and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pull, and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
- Lift and move 50 lb barrels consistently.
- Use a torque gun to open and close barrels.
- Process inbound and outbound shipments.
- Load and unload pallets.
- Scan items into inventory control system using RF Scanner.
- Safely and efficiently use warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hydraulic jack, RF Scanner, computers, and handheld printers.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
- High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
- Good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.

Schedule
Available shifts: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
