Packaging Associate - 2nd Shift

About the role

The Packaging Associate ensures that production assignments are met in a timely manner at the Johnson City, TN Manufacturing Plant.

Responsibilities

• Work on an assembly line filling bottles, jars, etc. with product, including repetitive tasks such as putting lids/caps on containers and placing finished product in shipping cases
• Label containers
• Unfold cartons to prepare for production
• Place tubes, inserts inside cartons as they move along the conveyor
• Prepare shipping cases by unfolding cases and using a tape dispenser to close the bottom of boxes
• Check for lot number/expiration date on containers
• Package all finished product and move to staging area
• Maintain a clean and neat work area
• Notify lead person/supervisor of production issues
• Work in other departments or areas as needed
• Follow all cGMP procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Consistent and punctual attendance
• Quality-driven with good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts
• Noise level may be loud at times

Physical Demands

• Ability to remain in a stationary position
• Constant movement and use of limbs
• Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
• Frequently pushes, pulls, and lifts up to 20 lbs
