What You’ll Do:
- Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations
- Live and foster the Dyno Nobel Corporate Values
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason when dealing with emotional topics
- Maintain good personnel relations by explaining company goals and policies
- Constructs work plans for the Emulsion workforce based on production plans and makes adjustments to plans as necessary
- Writes clearly and informatively; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information
- Contributes to building a positive team spirit; able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; supports everyone’s efforts to succeed
- Displays passion and optimism; inspires respect and trust; mobilizes others to fulfill the vision; provides vision and inspiration to peers and subordinates
- Buils positive relationships by listening, addressing concerns, feelings and communicating challenging but realistic performance expectations to move others to higher levels of performance
- Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports organization’s goals and values
What We’re Looking For:
- Undergraduate Engineering Degree preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to provide direction and coaching to others in an effective leadership manner
- Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration among all shift employees
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to interact and discuss issues with regulatory compliance officials
- Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
