What You’ll Do:

  • Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations
  • Live and foster the Dyno Nobel Corporate Values
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason when dealing with emotional topics
  • Maintain good personnel relations by explaining company goals and policies
  • Constructs work plans for the Emulsion workforce based on production plans and makes adjustments to plans as necessary
  • Writes clearly and informatively; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information
  • Contributes to building a positive team spirit; able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; supports everyone’s efforts to succeed
  • Displays passion and optimism; inspires respect and trust; mobilizes others to fulfill the vision; provides vision and inspiration to peers and subordinates
  • Buils positive relationships by listening, addressing concerns, feelings and communicating challenging but realistic performance expectations to move others to higher levels of performance
  • Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports organization’s goals and values

What We’re Looking For:

  • Undergraduate Engineering Degree preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to provide direction and coaching to others in an effective leadership manner
  • Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration among all shift employees
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interact and discuss issues with regulatory compliance officials
  • Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
