Pack Operator II

About the role

Ardent Mills is seeking a Pack Operator to join our team. As a Pack Operator, you will be responsible for operating pack equipment, processing, packing products, and performing sanitation duties to ensure food safety and comply with pack department standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate pack equipment to process and pack products
• Perform sanitation duties to maintain food safety requirements
• Ensure compliance with pack department standards to support the production process

Requirements

• Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, climb ladders, step, and extend
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and exert 20 pounds of force
• Frequent standing, walking, rotating, bending, stooping, twisting, crouching, kneeling, reaching at shoulder level and below shoulder level
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions including heat, cold, dust, loud noise, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

Pay

The starting range for this position is $20 - $22, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. The targeted bonus plan and percentage amount for this role is 5% of annualized base salary.

Schedule

Shifts are typically 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility based on production needs.
