Pack Operator - 2nd shift

About the role

As a Pack Operator on the 2nd shift, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient packaging of our products. This position involves operating pack equipment, processing and packing products, and performing sanitation duties to maintain food safety requirements and compliance within the pack department.

Physical requirements and working conditions

• Ascend and descend stairs multiple times per day
• Climb ladders, steps, and extensions
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and exert 20 pounds of force
• Frequently stand, walk, rotate, bend, stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, balance, and reach at or below shoulder level
• Perform physical job duties including bending, lifting, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely
• Work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions (heat, cold, dust, loud noise) with personal protective equipment (PPE), including a dust mask
• Work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper seal for respiratory protection (e.g., N-95 dust mask)

Pay

Starting range for this position is $18.80 - $25.18 per hour, with additional earning potential based on experience. Eligible for an annual performance bonus (target: 5% of base pay). Shift differential provided for eligible employees working outside standard business hours.

Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Arlington, OR production facility (15000 Shutler Drive, Arlington, OR 97812). Work schedules may vary based on business and operational needs, including shift work, overtime, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.
