About the role

Under the supervision of the Program Director, the PACE Center Manager oversees and manages the daily operations of the Program for All Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE), including operations of rehabilitation, recreation, nutrition, transportation, and administrative support teams. This includes ensuring that appropriate personnel are trained and perform their functions within the organization, operational services standards and budgetary criteria are met, and operations are in compliance with all governing regulations. Assumes the Program Director's responsibilities in their absence. This position is a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, pursuant to 42 CFR 460.102(b) and (d), as both the Center Manager role and also backup for Transportation Administrator.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily operations of PACE center operations (rehabilitation, recreation, nutrition, transportation, and administrative support teams)
  • Ensure appropriate personnel are trained and perform their functions within the organization
  • Ensure operational services standards and budgetary criteria are met
  • Ensure operations are in compliance with all governing regulations
  • Assume Program Director's responsibilities in their absence
  • Serve as member of the Interdisciplinary Team
  • Serve as backup for Transportation Administrator

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, or a health or human services field, or Clinical degree/diploma required
  • Professional clinical licensure and Master's Degree preferred
  • Five (5) years of health care experience preferred
  • Three (3) years of management experience, preferably in a geriatric care setting preferred
  • One (1) year experience working with the frail and elderly population preferred; if not met, required to train upon hire on the complexities of serving a frail and elderly population
  • Must have active CPR and First Aid Certification within 1 month of hire
  • Either training in or related experience with direction of a health care program
  • Knowledge of the physical, mental, and social needs of the elderly
