Part-time position working 20-29 hours per week, eligible for 4 hours of clinical time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Academic/Clinical Coordinator with maintaining accreditation by coordinating efforts to meet and/or exceed ARC-PA Standards.
  • Teach first-year and second-year students in:
    • Physical Diagnosis Lab
    • Clinical Correlations
    • Procedures
    • Lecturing in area of expertise
  • Advise first-year and second-year students.
  • Review and grade master’s projects.
  • Attend Call Backs.
  • Review academic/clinical curricular content for appropriateness to PA practice.
  • Monitor evaluation of learning outcomes.
  • Create and review academic and clinical exams.
  • Participate on appropriate committees as requested by the Program Director (as schedule allows).
  • Engage in reaccreditation and program evaluation activities as deemed appropriate by the Program Director.
  • Participate in the admissions process, including application review, interviews, and serving on the admissions committee.
  • Contribute to developing, reviewing, and revising the mission statement, goals, and competencies of the program.
  • Participate in scholarly activities (e.g., involvement in professional organizations, research).
  • Provide remedial instruction.
  • Assist in the preparation of accreditation documents and participate in the self-study process.
  • Serve on school-wide committees (encouraged).
  • Participate in recruitment efforts.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher or a professional degree is required.
  • Valid clinical license (if applicable).
  • Board Certification (if applicable).
  • Current clinical practice is recommended.

Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with frequent high levels of urgency or sensitivity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Additional Responsibilities

Expected additional course load: 2-4 courses per didactic year (for an average of 6-12 credits).

Pay

Salary range: USD $70,304.00 per year.
