About the Role

Full-Time Faculty for the Middletown PA Program, under the supervision of the Program Director and Academic/Clinical Coordinator, is responsible for the management and evaluation of the program's academic and clinical components. The Faculty member will work 36.5 hours per week and is eligible for 8 hours of clinical time.

Responsibilities

  • Accreditation: Assists the Academic/Clinical Coordinator with maintaining accreditation by coordinating efforts to meet and/or exceed the ARC-PA Standards.
  • Teaching: Instruct first- and second-year students in:
    • Physical Diagnosis Lab
    • Clinical Correlations
    • Procedures
    • Lecturing in area of expertise
    Additional duties include advising students and reviewing/grading master's projects.
  • Curriculum:
    • Review academic/clinical curricular content for appropriateness to PA practice.
    • Monitor evaluation of learning outcomes.
    • Create and review academic and clinical exams.
  • Committee Service:
    • Participate on committees as requested by the Program Director (as schedule allows).
    • Engage in reaccreditation and program evaluation activities.
  • General Program and School Responsibilities:
    • Participate in the admissions process, including application review, interviews, and serving on the admissions committee.
    • Contribute to developing, reviewing, and revising the program’s mission statement, goals, and competencies.
    • Engage in scholarly activities (e.g., professional organizations, research).
    • Provide remedial instruction as needed.
    • Assist in preparing accreditation documents and the self-study process.
    • Serve on school-wide committees (encouraged).
    • Participate in recruitment efforts.

Requirements

  • Master of Science required.
  • Valid clinical license.
  • NCCPA Board Certification.
  • Current clinical practice is recommended.

Pay

Salary range: USD $81,600.00 – $102,000.00 per year.
