About the role

Responsibilities
- Participate in the MD Admissions Committee to review applications and select candidates for the program.
- Contribute to the Progress Committee to monitor and support student progress throughout their studies.
- Collaborate with the EPCC Committee to develop and implement educational policies and curriculum changes.
- Engage with the Thesis Chair Committee to oversee thesis requirements and ensure academic integrity.
- Work with the Curriculum Mapping Documents to align educational goals with institutional standards.
- Attend LCME Accreditation meetings to ensure compliance with medical education accreditation standards.
Requirements
To be considered for admission, applicants must have completed undergraduate studies and hold a bachelor's degree. They should also have a strong background in science, particularly biology and chemistry, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a competitive MCAT score. They should also have relevant work experience in healthcare settings and a commitment to public service.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices is beneficial.
