PA/NP - Podiatry Hospitalist - Grand Rapids, MI

About the role

This role focuses primarily on inpatient podiatry care, including limb salvage, wound care, diabetic foot care, inpatient rounding, new consults, and post-surgical follow-up. The Advanced Practice Provider will work closely with inpatient-focused podiatrists, vascular surgery, and the wound clinic to support coordinated, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Daily rounding and inpatient focused podiatry care
• Limb salvage, wound care, and diabetic foot care
• Collaboration with inpatient-focused podiatrists, vascular surgery, and the wound clinic
• Assistance in surgery as needed based on caseload and surgeon needs

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner: Master's Degree, 3 years of relevant experience, current, relevant clinical experience, previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner, LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan, CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS), CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
• Physician Assistant: Master's Degree, Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program, LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan, CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS), CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS), CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 Years PA/NP experience
• Operative Experience
• RNFA preferred
