About the role

Responsible for assisting physicians in the medical care and management of patients, performing such functions as making rounds, physical examinations, and other patient examinations, injections, care of wounds, arranging for patient referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians in the medical care and management of patients
  • Perform physical examinations and other patient examinations
  • Make rounds and arrange for patient referrals
  • Provide care for wounds and injections

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required
  • National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience preferred

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
