P6 Scheduler - Data Centers
Overview
We are seeking a P6 Scheduler to support large‑scale data center construction projects. This role partners closely with Project Managers and field leadership to build, maintain, and analyze project schedules in Primavera P6. Candidates should bring hands‑on scheduling experience and be able to clearly demonstrate P6 knowledge in an interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules from mobilization through project closeout
- Build schedules from scratch, including WBS structure, logic ties, milestones, and CPM analysis
- Track progress against customer delivery dates and installation milestones
- Analyze schedule impacts, identify risks, and proactively flag delays or conflicts
- Support weekly and monthly project reporting with accurate schedule data
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Leads to ensure schedule accuracy
Required Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of hands‑on Primavera P6 scheduling experience
- Proven experience supporting commercial construction projects (data center experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Activity relationships, milestones, and constraints
- Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Critical Path Method (CPM)
- Ability to build, update, and explain a P6 schedule in an interview
- Experience tracking activity logic, starts/finishes, and schedule changes
- Ability to read drawings, specs, and project documents to reflect scope in the schedule
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
