P6 Scheduler
About the role
The P6 Scheduler will work with the Project Manager to create timetables to manage both time and resources to ensure work is completed on time. The first six months involve being onsite to meet with General Contractors (GCs), Subcontractors, and Field Management.
Responsibilities
- Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
- Create and maintain calendars for project implementation to completion.
- Identify and correct or report schedule disparities to Project Management.
- Provide all necessary elements for issuing Weekly/Monthly Reports to the Project Manager.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements

- Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, along with the ability to read, write, and give oral presentations.
- Proven high skill level in interpreting blueprints and other project documents, including specifications, reporting, and quality requirements.
- Ability to learn Company project management systems, particularly Primavera, Schedule management, and Project scheduling.
Qualifications
- Experience with Primavera, Schedule management, and Project scheduling.
- Described daily responsibilities as a project scheduler.
- Defined a critical path and explained the ratio used in CPM.
- Experienced with open-ended activities in schedules.
- Familiarity with ETS, nodes, and different levels of schedules.
- Knowledge of when to use level 5 and level 1 nodes, finished milestones, and activity types for tracking starts and finishes.
- Experience creating summary reports for Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Provided updates in day-to-day activities, including showcasing updates with critical path methods.
- Used shortcut keys and set up resources for earned value reports.
- Experience building schedules from scratch, including beginning steps and creating ETS.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, LA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $68.00/hr.
