P6 Scheduler

About the role

Gleeds Energy is looking for an experienced Scheduler to join a long-term programme supporting two major industrial sites undergoing significant decommissioning and environmental infrastructure works. These are multi-billion-dollar, multi-year programs, offering rare stability and deep development opportunities for someone looking to grow their scheduling career.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of project schedules across major decommissioning and environmental works, including fuel cycle and waste management infrastructure.
• Build and maintain schedules in Primavera P6.
• Develop working programmes for construction and environmental delivery teams.
• Understand regulatory and environmental constraints that influence sequencing.
• Schedule decommissioning, pond remediation, and associated infrastructure.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and project controls stakeholders.
• Assist with cross-programme planning on related environmental scopes.
• Work at the strategy-to-delivery interface, shaping the plans that drive execution on site.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on Primavera P6 experience.
• Understanding of earned value management, forecasting techniques, and schedule analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience in industries such as energy, utilities, infrastructure, engineering, or nuclear (optional but beneficial).
• Curious, proactive, and keen to learn from experienced programme leads.
