P2R Sales Manager

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a P2R Sales Manager – Downstream Chemicals to join our team. This role represents BKR with executive-level management of midstream, refining, and trading organizations across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic and tactical sales plans aligned with customer business plans to drive growth in targeted areas
• Ensure sales campaigns and strategies are consistent with overall company objectives
• Proactively identify and engage new potential strategic customers
• Build relationships with key customers at both corporate and regional offices
• Apply or lead the application of innovative ideas and technologies to create a business or organizational advantage
• Manage customer contracts to maximize profitability while monitoring and evaluating programs and expenditures

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• 10+ years' experience in refining, midstream, or upstream chemical sales
• Proven track record of delivering top and bottom-line growth
• Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and market conditions
• Comprehensive understanding of company products/applications and services
• 50% business travel required
• Excellent business acumen
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in a Sciences or Engineering field
• 15+ years' experience in refining, midstream, or upstream chemical sales
• 5+ years of corporate sales experience at the C-suite level
• Commercial negotiations experience with large corporate contracts in the downstream or midstream markets
