P&SC Logistics Specialist

The Data Center infrastructure solutions business provides innovative and cost-effective solutions that enable building faster, smarter, and more resilient data centers. Our modular infrastructure solutions scale AI and cloud computing capacity while minimizing capital risk and deployment delays. From design and supply chain to commissioning and operations, we standardize components and relocate labor to controlled offsite environments to reduce costs, improve lead times, and lower construction risk while ensuring quality and global repeatability.
Responsibilities
- Execute and own the logistics plan for purchased items in accordance with assigned freight channels.
- Participate in planning reviews and alignment of operations with planning and production teams.
- Comply with logistics procedures and ensure all transactions adhere to agreed terms and conditions.
- Identify opportunities for improving lead time, cost reduction, and on-time delivery.
- Maintain open purchase order tracking (POs) from ready for collection through customs clearance, material delivery, and freight forwarder payment.
- Manage shipment discrepancies, including lost or damaged in-transit orders, and file insurance claims.
- Ensure adherence to SLB-approved freight forwarder agreements and contracts.
- Support planning and warehouse functions in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies.
- Complete actions to continuously reduce wasted time, money, and resources.
- Comply with SLB and local procedures applicable to the job function.
- Perform other duties as directed by their manager.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a supply chain specialist role.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a culture of positive change within the supply chain organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous process improvement mindset, including experience with Lean/Six Sigma.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Clear and effective communicator, able to convey complex concepts in both individual and group settings.
- Fluent in English, with advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
