Responsibilities
- Lead complex reserving analyses for Auto Injury coverages focusing on high-quality methodology and analysis
- Partner with senior stakeholders to develop and execute informed reserving strategies
- Ensure data quality and analytical rigor in actuarial analyses by reviewing methods and tools
- Translate technical actuarial results into actionable insights for leadership and external parties
- Plan and manage moderate-to-high complexity actuarial projects across multiple disciplines
- Develop and coach a team of analysts in technical competencies and best practices
- Contribute to the evolution of reserving methods and practices, acting as a subject-matter expert
Qualifications
- Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) required
- 7+ years of actuarial experience necessary
- Proven ability to lead complex actuarial analyses and apply judgement for business decisions
- Experience collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams essential
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience required
- PREFERRED: Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)
- PREFERRED: Property and casualty reserving experience
- PREFERRED: Experience in managing and developing actuarial talent
