Key Responsibilities
- Provides thought and/or technical leadership, including contributions to improvement, development and innovation, and often serves as a subject matter expert
- Plans, implements, manages, and/or contributes to projects that are moderate to high complexity and scale using accepted project management standards, with a high degree of independence
- Leverages understanding of insurance business, claims operations, products, markets, and the broader economic environment to influence reserve reviews, business decisions, and communication strategy
- Mentors, guides, and reviews the work of less experienced talent and improves the analytical capabilities of the team
- Reviews, evaluates, and communicates appropriateness of reserving methodologies and results to leadership and business partners in a manner that is well understood and influence business decisions
- Selects, reviews, uses, and ensures quality of claims, exposure, and financial data used to perform reserve analyses, reserve monitoring, and actuarial projections
Qualifications
- Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS)
- Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) preferred
- Five or more years of actuarial experience
- Experience completing complex actuarial analyses and applying actuarial judgment to support business decisions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is 100,000.00 - 170,500.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
