Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance complex actuarial reserving methodologies across multiple lines of business
- Translate complex actuarial results into actionable insights for executive leadership
- Benchmark reserving techniques against industry standards and innovate with the latest methods
- Serve as primary contact for auditors and state insurance departments, representing the company professionally
- Review and consult on complex loss reserving techniques across multiple lines of business
- Manage end-to-end talent processes for the actuarial team, fostering the next generation of leaders
- Connect department initiatives with enterprise strategy to drive measurable results
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) or equivalent actuarial designation required
- 12+ years of progressive P&C actuarial experience, with meaningful depth in reserving
- Deep expertise in loss reserving methodologies and advanced actuarial/statistical techniques
- Strong knowledge of insurance reserving frameworks and regulatory requirements
Compensation
$199,000 – $274,000 annually
